Will you step forward for Extern and join the thousands of others running the Dublin Marathon in 2023?

We are delighted to announce that we have exclusive places for 2023 Dublin Marathon, happening on Sunday 29th October 2023, and are looking for runners to join #TeamExtern to raise vital funds for our services across the island of Ireland.

The Dublin Marathon has increased in popularity and is now the fourth largest marathon in Europe, with more than 20,000 runners from over 60 countries taking part each year and is now a ‘bucket list’ marathon!

This event is significantly over subscribed each year, and in 2019 it sold out more than 10 months ahead of the event, so be sure to secure your spot early as we have a limited number of places.

Dublin Marathon is known for its relatively flat, fast course, which begins and ends in the heart of the city. It is a single lap, starting from Fitzwilliam Street, taking runners through and past many of Dublin's historic Georgian streets, including Trinity College, Herbert Park, St Stephens Green and Phoenix Park, before finishing at Merrion Square North.

This is a great marathon to do as it is relatively flat, has ideal running conditions averaging of 12 – 14 degrees Celsius and has warm, friendly and supportive crowds to cheer you on.
