Young people are at the heart of what we do. Each year we speak up for and support more than 25,000 children, young people, individuals and families. We enable them to overcome their challenges, empower positive change and support family unity.  

Whether you’re a nursery, primary school or secondary school, there are lots of ways you can get involved and raise vital funds to support Extern. Hold a one-off event for us or choose Extern as your school’s charity of the year. Check out some of our ideas below: 

Cake sales

Get everyone to bring in their favourite home-baked treats and hold a break-time cake sale for pupils, staff and parents.  

School disco

Set a theme, sell tickets, put your dancing shoes on, and have fun whilst raising money for Extern in the process. 

Non-Uniform day

Organise a non-uniform day and ask everyone to pay £1 to wear their own clothes to school.  

Organise your own event

Arrange a sponsored walk, school play or talent show to get everyone involved. 

Fundraising for Extern can be a great way to help pupils learn lots of skills and support with improving communication, along with their sense of responsibility, team-work and also awareness about the charity sector.
